Rumors about the PlayStation 5 now overlap almost daily, but at the moment we do not yet have official statements about the next version of the PlayStation console.
But today’s news finally arrives from an official source: it comes from a Sony spokesman, and was reported by The Wall Street Journal, and especially from reporter Takashi Mochizuki.
According to reports, although Sony is not present at the next E3 2019 , it could still soon organize a private event to present the new PlayStation 5, catalyzing all the attention on the new console.
However, the spokesman said that the console will not arrive before the second half of 2020.

A clear-cut clarification, as reported by Mochizuki , derives from the fact that the rumors about a possible near exit of the new Sony console would be considerably penalizing the sales of the PlayStation 4.
Sony wanted therefore to communicate almost officially that it is useless to expect a launch this year of PlayStation 5, and that the console will not arrive before the second half of the 2020.
It is indeed legitimate to expect the console to arrive towards the end of next year, close to the Christmas holidays.
